Current Rag Prices Being Offered

With reopening plans now thoroughly underway, our latest insight that rag prices are returning to a place of normality was some warmly received news.

Covid-19 has forced a turbulent few months on all of us and charity retail (not to mention rag prices) have been no different.

Due to difficulties in many overseas markets, coupled with large stockpiles of unsold rag, we have seen a volatile market created in terms of rag pricing.

As the UK’s largest charity retail training and support services provider, our consultants have been working very closely with charity retail shops coming out of lockdown and have seen rag prices returning to a sense of normality – with some rag merchants offering 35p for textiles and 45p for shoes.
